This is an early 20th century view of the lower end of Millhams Lane which was renamed millhams Road in more recent times. (c1911)

The properties on the right still stand and are known as Grey Cottages.The church in the view is of course St. Andrew`s.  All the old fields on the left are now covered with modern housing.

In this photograph ( on the left) is a hint of a ditch through which a stream flowed from the Kinson Common area to Millhams.  This stream still flows underground and enters Millhams via an access point in a field directly opposite the church.
