Working Compartments
For sound management reasons,  the Kinson Common has been divided up into working compartents. This allows the Borough of Bournemouth to attend to the individual needs of each area and to ensure the long term preservation of an important conservation and amenity open space site.

Each area of the Common has been given names which are easily identifiable and are known to everyday users of the area. Apart from Gover`s Glade, the other names were accepted when put forward by the original Kinson Common Management Committee back in the 1980`s.
