Large Red Damselfly
Pyrrhosoma nymphula

A very common and robust damselfly which is well distributed around the Kinson Common. Both the female and the male have red and black bodies with black legs. Good viewing places to view this species are at Pepin`s Pond and in Gover`s Glade.
