                           September.

Foodplants.    Nettles and hops.

Larva.                Black, marked with grey and orange, with a white-saddle
                           covering the hind end. Complex yellow spines, white on the
                           saddle.

Pupa.              Horned. Silver points and gold streaks.

Winters as.    A butterfly.
